Kwadaso Agricultural College Celebrates 311 Graduates at 16th Graduation Ceremony

Kwadaso Agricultural College (KAC) has marked another proud milestone in its history, successfully holding its 16th Graduation Ceremony and presenting a new cohort of skilled agricultural professionals to the nation.
The event, attended by the Minister for Food and Agriculture as Guest of Honour, members of the Governing Board, staff, parents, and students, was a celebration of academic achievement, resilience, and the enduring promise of agricultural education in Ghana.
A New Generation of Agripreneurs
A total of 400 graduands crossed the stage, comprising 311 Diploma and 89 Certificate graduates across KAC's range of agricultural programmes.
The class distinguished itself with an impressive academic performance:
- 42 graduates — 31 males and 11 females — achieved First Class Honours
- 171 graduates — 102 males and 69 females — achieved Second Class Honours
- 48 graduates — 23 males and 25 females — achieved Third Class
- 38 graduates received a Pass
Speaking at the ceremony, the Principal of Kwadaso Agricultural College paid tribute to the graduating class, describing them as more than just degree holders.
"You are not just graduates; you are agripreneurs, change agents, and ambassadors of agricultural transformation. Let your skills translate into solutions for food security, for climate resilience, and for youth employment."
— Albert Appiah Amoakoh, Principal, Kwadaso Agricultural College
Excellence Built on a Strong Foundation
The Principal reflected on the college's journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of Ghana's foremost centres for agricultural knowledge, skills development, and innovation. He reaffirmed KAC's commitment to equipping students with not only technical expertise but also entrepreneurial thinking and ethical values essential for modern agribusiness.
"Agriculture today is not just about farming," the Principal noted. "It is about innovation, sustainability, and impact."
The college's partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector actors were credited with enhancing students' practical exposure and ensuring the curriculum remains aligned with the demands of today's agricultural economy.

Looking Ahead: Digital Learning and Institutional Growth
Beyond the celebrations, the Principal used the occasion to signal KAC's ambitious agenda for the future. The college is actively strengthening its infrastructure, digital learning systems, and research capacity — a vision consistent with KAC's recent strides in blended and online learning under the Erasmus+ Ghana EDU 2023 CB-VET project.
"We envision a college that not only trains but also innovates, inspires, and transforms agriculture across Ghana and beyond," he said.
Gratitude and Partnership
The Principal extended warm appreciation to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture for its continued support, to KAC's dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, and to development partners, alumni, and private sector collaborators whose contributions sustain the college's mission and expand its reach.

A Message to the Graduates
Closing his address, the Principal urged graduates to carry the KAC legacy with pride and purpose as they enter their professional lives.
"Go forth with confidence, humility, and a strong sense of responsibility. Be proud ambassadors of Kwadaso Agricultural College and let your work reflect the excellence you have achieved here."
To the Class of 2025 — congratulations, and ayekoo!
